Yvonne Alvarez, passed away on July 13, 2026. Born on May 19, 1976, in Torrance, California, Yvonne lived a life defined by dedication, resilience, and love.

She was a proud graduate of Biola University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Leadership. Throughout her life, she approached every endeavor with determination, professionalism, and a caring heart.

Yvonne began her corporate career with Brinks Home Security where she developed her skills and built lifelong friendships. She dedicated more than 20 years of her career to Canyon Partners, where she worked in Investor Relations. Her commitment and expertise earned the respect of colleagues and friends alike. In 2021, she embraced a new chapter when she relocated to Texas with her company, continuing to build the career she worked so hard to establish.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Yvonne found joy in life's simple pleasures. She loved spending time outdoors, especially camping and enjoying nature's beauty. She shared a special and faithful bond with her longtime service dog and beloved companion, Monkey, who was a constant source of comfort, companionship, and unconditional love. Living in The Tribute Lakeside Community and Resort, she found more than a beautiful place to call home. She built lasting friendships with neighbors, shared countless conversations and laughs at the dog park, and created a welcoming community that became an important part of her life. She also found a church home at Prestonwood Baptist Church in Plano, where she developed deep connections, grew in her faith, and formed many meaningful friendships that brought joy and companionship to her life.

Yvonne's greatest treasure was her family. As a devoted daughter, sister, aunt, niece, cousin, and godmother she treasured the relationships that shaped her life and brought her so much joy. She rarely missed a birthday, holiday, graduation, or special celebration. Being together mattered to her.

Yvonne will be remembered for her strength, kindness, loyalty, and unwavering love for those closest to her. Her presence brought comfort, laughter, and encouragement to family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Though her passing leaves a profound void in our hearts, the memories she created and the love she shared will remain with us forever.

Yvonne's life was a gift to those who knew her. She will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever carried in our hearts.
