Obituary for Elder Kim Young-Soon (Age 92) With deep sorrow and faith in the promise of eternal life, the Park family announces that Elder Kim Young-Soon was called home to be with the Lord on October 18th, 2025, at the age of 92. A devoted woman of prayer, Elder Kim lived her life wholly dependent on the Lord Jesus Christ, whom she trusted and loved with all her heart. Throughout her life, she faithfully served as the spiritual foundation of her family—raising her children with prayer, wisdom, and sacrificial love, and nurturing a strong bond of unity among her sons and daughters. Her home was a place of peace and comfort, where all who entered felt the warmth of her heart and the depth of her faith. Her love and compassion extended far beyond her family. She supported the homeless, the orphaned, and students in African mission fields, helping them grow in faith and education. She also faithfully participated in the planting of churches in Israel. Her tireless devotion to others reflected her lifelong desire to serve Christ through service to His people.
Those who knew her will remember her gentle smile, her clasped hands in prayer, and her unshakable faith that guided her through every season of life. Though our hearts ache at her passing, we take comfort in knowing that she now rests peacefully in the loving arms of her Savior. Elder Kim is survived by her loving children and their families, who continue to walk in the faith she so beautifully lived out. Her legacy of prayer, faith, and love will remain an everlasting blessing to all who knew her.
“Well done, good and faithful servant… Enter into the joy of your Lord.” (Matthew 25:23) The family sincerely thanks all who have offered their prayers and condolences during this time and asks that you continue to remember them in your prayers.
