Wenda Deane Bartholio, a beloved mother, sister, grandmother, and friend, passed away on January 19th, 2026, at the age of 84 in Redondo Beach, California. Born on June 26th, 1941, in Santa Monica, California, Wenda was a beacon of love and positivity throughout her life.

Wenda graduated from El Segundo High School in 1959, after which she dedicated her life to her family and community. As a devoted homemaker, she tirelessly took care of her loved ones and created a warm and nurturing environment. Her professional journey included serving as an office manager for OSI and managing inventory control for several department stores. Wenda also volunteered her time working at voting polls, exemplifying her commitment to her community and values.

With a personality that was creative, positive, caring, and outgoing, Wenda brought joy to everyone she encountered. Her hobbies and interests reflected her vibrant spirit; she found delight in painting, line-dancing, antiquing, reading, gardening, sewing, and bowling. She embraced life to the fullest and inspired those around her with her zest for living.

Wenda is survived by her two loving sons, Tony and Joe, who cherish fond memories of their mother’s unwavering support and affection. Her legacy will continue through her grandchildren: Trent, Eastin, and Tessa, along with her great-grandchild, Luca, who brought her immense joy. Wenda is also survived by her dear sister Mary, as well as her niece Wendy and nephew Bobby, each holding a special place in her heart.

Wenda’s life was enriched by moments spent with her late husband, Ray Bartholio, whose memory she cherished. She was also preceded in death by her beloved mother, Vearl, and father, Fay, who nurtured her spirit and shaped her into the remarkable woman she became.

A graveside service to honor Wenda’s life will be held at Green Hills Memorial Park in Rancho Palos Verdes, California, on March 6th, 2026, at 12:30 PM. Those who knew Wenda will forever remember her warmth, creativity, and loving nature, which painted beautiful colors in the lives of all she met. She leaves behind a legacy of love that will be deeply missed but eternally celebrated.
