Warren David Harris

June 24, 1955 — August 1, 2025

On August 1, 2025, we said goodbye to Warren David Harris, a loving husband, dad, grandpa, brother, and friend. He was born June 24, 1955 in Dorchester, Massachusetts and later moved to San Pedro, California where he spent his childhood growing up in Navy Housing. He came from a proud Navy family consisting of a father who served in World War II, Korea and Vietnam, and two older brothers who served in Vietnam.

Warren spent 27 years serving with the Long Beach Police Department, a career that reflected his courage, integrity, and commitment to protecting others. But beyond the badge, he was known for his enormous heart, quick wit, and the way he always showed up for the people he cared about.

He had a love for the open road and found joy and brotherhood riding with his motorcycle club, the 911 Riders. Whether he was on his Harley, sharing an old cop story, or simply napping on the couch, Warren's presence made every moment feel brighter. He especially loved being "Dad" and "Papa," and nothing brought him more pride than his daughter, son in-law and grandchildren.

Warren was preceded in death by his parents, Leroy and Mildred; his brothers, Paul and Russell; and his grandson, Michael-Edward.

Carrying on his legacy are his wife, Kimberly; his daughter, Lauren and son in-law, Jesus; his grandchildren, Anthony “Bubberz”, Gabriel “Gaberz” and Lilliana; and his sister, Patricia. He also leaves behind countless friends who became like family over the years.

Warren lived his life with loyalty, love, and a fierce devotion to those closest to him. His laugh, his stories, and his steady presence will be deeply missed but never forgotten. As he rides on into the sunset, may the road rise to meet him, the wind be at his back, and the rumble of his Harley echo in our hearts forever.
