Born May 10, 1933 in Bayaney, Puerto Rico, the long-time Torrance resident passed away peacefully on July 3, 2013 surrounded by her loving family.
She is survived by her husband, Hedson Maldonado; son, Ronald (Lilly) Maldonado of Costa Rica; daughter, Deborah Avila of Long Beach and son, Hedson (Sonia) Maldonado Jr. of Costa Rica. Virginia is also survived by her grandchildren; Laura, Sean, Justina, Jonathan, Brandon and Dena.
