In Loving Memory of Victor “Vico” Osuna
Victor “Vico” Osuna, a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, went to be with the Lord, leaving behind his beloved wife of 52 years, Yolanda, and his children, Lupita, Yoli, and Andy (Maria).
He was deeply loved and adored by his grandchildren, Jasmine, Joseph, Brandon, Lucy, and Audrey, and by his beloved dog, Chewie. Victor was loved by so many and touched the lives of everyone fortunate enough to know him.
Victor was a proud ILWU Longshoreman. He worked for Local 13 for 15 years before transferring to Local 63, where he proudly worked as a Marine Clerk until his retirement in 2019.
Victor will be deeply missed and forever remembered by his family, friends, and all those whose lives he touched. We find comfort in knowing that he is now with the Lord, his mother, and other beloved family members and friends who went before him.
Victor loved karaoke, cruises, camping, working on cars, and taking on home remodeling projects. If you ever offered to help him with one of his projects and heard, “De volada, es fácil,” you already knew you were going to be there ALL DAY. That was Vico.
He was truly one of a kind. Everyone who knew him knew him as the storyteller, the singer, the builder, the car enthusiast, the hard worker, the great friend, the wonderful brother, the loving husband and father, the proud grandfather, and a man of faith.
Victor was highly regarded and respected for the dedication and love he showed his family and for the way he carried himself throughout his life, despite the many obstacles he faced. No matter who you were, he showed you kindness, love, and respect. A stranger never stayed a stranger for long. He had a way of making everyone feel like family, and there was always a seat at his table.
He was the kind of person who would lend a hand, share a story, sing a song, or welcome you into his home. His generosity, humor, strength, and love for his family were felt by everyone around him.
There was truly no one like him, and there never will be.
His stories, laughter, music, hard work, and love will live on through the family and friends he leaves behind. His memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who were blessed to know him.
Rest in eternal paradise, Vico. Watch over our family until we meet again. You will forever be loved, remembered, and missed. We will love you always, our “Big Kahuna”.
