Toshiaki Kai, a beloved resident of Cerritos, passed away peacefully on April 10, 2026, at the age of 86.

Born on April 2, 1940, on Terminal Island, Toshiaki was known and cherished by family and friends for his gentle nature, warm heart, generous spirit, and adventurous soul. He carried a quiet strength and kindness that left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.

Toshiaki proudly served in the United States Air Force before briefly working as a mailman and building a dedicated career at IBM. In retirement, he embraced life fully traveling the world alongside his beloved wife, Lieu (Lan), and treasuring the moments spent with his children, grandchildren, and pets.

He lived a life rooted in love, humility, and quiet joy. Toshiaki was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed by all who had the blessing of knowing him.
