Takashi Yasutake passed away peacefully on October 18, 2025, at the age of 93. A devoted husband, loving father, and proud grandfather, Takashi will be remembered for his strength, love of bringing people together, and unwavering work ethic.

Born in Fukuoka, Japan, Takashi moved to the United States in the 1950’s to build a life filled with opportunity and purpose. Through hard work and determination, he founded T-Y Nursery, where he cultivated a successful business, lasting relationships with customers, employees, and a legacy of dedication and integrity. His hands were always busy, his heart always full, and his quiet perseverance inspired everyone who knew him.

His greatest joy came from his family - he was a steady presence, always ready to make you laugh, give you a pep talk or a helping hand. He leaves behind a family who will forever cherish his memory and the lessons he taught through his actions.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, November 1st, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. at Green Hills Memorial Chapel to honor and remember Takashi’s remarkable life.
