It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved Steve on January 19, 2012 as the result of a tragic accident while performing his job as a longshoreman in Long Beach.
He was born April 24, 1964 in Harbor City, California to Nello and Katherine Saggiani. Stevie is survived by his parents, Kay and Nello; his brother Mike (Mindy) Saggiani and niece Sienna; his sister Gina (Pete) Califano and nieces Giana, Tessa and Laina; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He also leaves behind a host of grieving friends. We all miss him dearly and he will live forever in our hearts
Visitation will be Thursday, January 26th from 5:00 -9:00 p.m. at Green Hills Memorial Chapel. The Funeral Mass will be Friday, January 27th at 10:30 a.m. at Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church in San Pedro. In lieu of flowers, it would be deeply appreciated if donations were made to "That's Right, Safety First", c/o ILWU Local 94, 411 N. Harbor Blvd., Suite 303, San Pedro, CA 90731.
