Steven Charles Colwell, born March 7, 1950 in Hollywood, CA to Walter Charles Colwell and Dixie Vella (Wall) Colwell, passed from this life into the next on February 1, 2022 at his home in Moreno Valley, CA, following a nearly year long battle with Limbic Encephalitis. An Army Veteran of the Vietnam war, gifted painter, musician, philosopher, theologian, surfer, and cowboy, he lived a rich life surrounded by those he loved and was the light of any room he walked into.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Charlotte Marie (Driver) Colwell, his daughter Vanessa Marie Colwell, and his grandchildren Vivien Marie Colwell, Killian Rudd Colwell, and Evangeline Vella Colwell, as well as many nieces and nephews, and good friends.
Steve will be missed beyond measure, always loved, and never forgotten.
