Steve Jerome Davidson, of Palos Verdes Estates, CA, passed away on June 23, 2026, with his family by his side. Born and raised in Gardena, CA, as the oldest of three, he moved out on his own right after high school, worked in construction, and put himself through UCLA. Steve was a high school science teacher for over 30 years, spending most of his career at Mira Costa High School in Manhattan Beach, where he taught and coached football and baseball. After retirement in 2018, he enjoyed gardening, crafts, working out at the gym, and traveling with his family. He is survived by his wife Charlyne, his children Julia and Ben, his brother Craig (Marsha) and sister Cindy (Michael) Nabayan, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins, and his beloved cat. Memorial services will be held on July 23, 11:30 at Green Hills Memorial Chapel. Casual dress – no suits please.
