Shoji Miyagishima, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away peacefully at the age of 87 on July 7, 2023. Born and raised in Miho Shimizu, Japan, he resided most of his life in the Gardena and Torrance areas. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Kikue; children, Joyce (Patrick Jenkins) Miyagishima, Paulette (Wesley) Wong, Andy Miyagishima, and Mark Miyagishima; grandchildren, Anabel Wong, Logan Jenkins; cat, Pumpkin.
In addition to his immediate family, he is survived by his in-laws, and numerous nieces and nephews in Japan.
