Sayoko Y. Tominaga was born in Fukuoka, Japan on July 19, 1928. She was a naturalized citizen and long time resident of San Pedro. Sayoko passed away on August 7, 2014. She is survived by her husband of 67 years, George Tominaga; daughters, JoAnn Y. Tominaga (Michael Nixon), Dr. Gail T. Tominaga (Eric Sandberg) and son, Brian Y. Tominaga (Diane); grandchildren, Davis Y. Tominaga, Brandon H. Tominaga, Lauren D. Tominaga and Kathryn S. Sandberg; brother, Fuyoshi Yamamichi of Japan. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, 8/23/2014, at 1:00 p.m. at Green Hills Memorial Chapel in Rancho Palos Verdes, CA with private interment at a later date. Casual attire requested.
