Rudolph Anthony Lopez, more commonly known as Tony Lopez, age 68, of Long Beach, California passed away on Thursday, May 29, 2025.
Tony is survived by his father, Rudolph Lopez of Lomita, Ca; his brother Michael Lopez and wife of Suisun City, Ca; and many aunts and uncles and cousins.
Tony grew up in Lomita, California. He attended Lomita Elementary School, Alexander Fleming Jr. High, Narbonne High School, L.A. Harbor Community College and El Camino College, earning an Associates of Science degree in electronics. Tony was affiliated with the Boy Scouts of America, Narbonne High School Marching and Stage Band, Torrance Area Youth Band, Los Caballeros Youth Band, Anaheim Kingsmen Drum and Bugle Corp, and Sudden Move Band, as well as many other musical groups.
For the past twenty years or so, Tony worked for companies within their metrology wing, calibrating electronic equipment. Most recently, he was a field service engineer for KeySight Technologies, in El Segundo, Ca. He also repaired musical instruments for Morey’s Music, Marshall’s Music, and Opus Music, as well as repairing instruments at his own store, Castle Music. He enjoyed international travel, visiting destinations in Scotland, Ireland, and Great Britain. Tony will be missed by his family and friends. Funeral services will be held at Green Hills Memorial Park, Rancho Palos Verdes, Ca. on Thursday, June 26 at 11:30am.
