Ruben Padilla, 72, passed away peacefully on September 20, 2025, in Moreno Valley, California surrounded by his family and brother, Benjamin Padilla. Born on September 7, 1953, in San Pedro, California, Ruben lived a life marked by dedication to his family, his craft, and his faith.

In 1975, Ruben married Carolyn, the love of his life. Together they shared 50 years of marriage built on love, devotion, and family.

Ruben dedicated 39 years of service at the Texaco Sulfur Recovery Plant in Wilmington, retiring on October 2, 2015, at age 62. In 2019, he and Carolyn moved to Moreno Valley to enjoy retirement together.

He is survived by his wife, Carolyn; sons Ruben Jr., Joshua (Amy), and Jacob (Lisa); four cherished grandchildren: Jaiden, Leia, Lily, and Lucy; brothers Delfin Jr. and Benjamin; sister, Ronda; his niece and extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his loving parents: Delfin Sr. and Carolyn.

Ruben will be remembered for his devotion to family, strong work ethic, and the love he shared with all who knew him.
