"Reaping Ron"
Ronald, the son of Helen Ortiz Ornelas and Pedro Ortiz (deceased) was born in Carson, California on January 26th 1952. He is survived and loved by his children, Major Shelby Basler, Charmaine Morales, Helani Bowie, Anthony Ortiz, Ronald Ortiz Jr., Natalie Ortiz; 14 grandchildren; brothers, Greg, Daniel, John and Ruben; sisters, Rose Marie, Rachel, Dolores and Reina; uncle, Manuel R. Ortiz; aunt, Caroline Palos and his second mother Auntie Louie. Reaping Ron will be greatly missed by his ILWU local 13 brothers and sisters with whom he worked with for 38 years.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 28, 2012 from 3-8 p.m. at Green Hills Mortuary with a Memorial Service to be held on Thursday, March 29, 2012 at 1 p.m. at Green Hills Memorial Chapel in Rancho Palos Verdes, Ca. Please sign the guestbook at www.dailybreeze.com/obits .
