Ronald Alexander was born December 25, 1950 in Dallas Texas. Ron was the fifth child born to Marvin Milton Alexander, Sr. and Rebecca Louise Patton Alexander both have proceeded him in death. Five siblings Ruth Britton, Barbara Alexander, Marvin Alexander, Jr., Jerry Alexander and Timothy Alexander, also proceeded him.
The family moved to California in 1954, Ron attended Bandini Elementary school, Dana Jr. High, San Pedro High and Harbor Community College. He was active in local sports while attending Harbor Community College he was a standout on the football team.
Ronald and Linda Johnson were high school sweethearts, they were married in 1973, and from this union two sons were born, Keith and Brian Alexander. Ronald worked at Todd Shipyard in, San Pedro, California until it’s closure in 1989. Ronald was an entrepreneur; he always figured out the next step. He found his calling as a landscaper, gardener and painter. he loved working with his hands and in his garden.
In January 2004, Ronald reunited with his 3rd grade sweetheart Eloise Davis. Life began again for them; they had been together for 21 years. He told her every day how much he loved her. He welcomed being a father, grandfather and a step-father. Ronald taught everyone his many skills, life lessons and the value of hard work. He often said he felt like a changed man being with Eloise. His favorite thing to do was watch movies and listen to music.
On December 12, 2023, God called him home. Ronald leaves to cherish him memory, two sons Keith and Brian Alexander, two grandchildren, Avant and Haneif, two sisters, Carrie Alexander and Patricia L. Thomas, his loving Partner Eloise Davis, nieces, nephews, in-laws, friends, step kids and step grandkids. He will be deeply missed.
