Richard Jess Linares Jr., from Long Beach, California left us on November 16,2025 ,at the young age of 53. He was born on August 31,1972, in Harbor City, California to Eileen and Richard Linares. He leaves behind his son Anthony, two grandsons AJ and Jayden, his mother Eileen, his three siblings-Leonard, Jeffrey and Stephanie and many nieces and nephews. Richard was known by friends and family as Rich or “Tubby”. He had a big heart and his love was something you felt whenever you were around him. Richard graduated from Long Beach Polytechnic High School in 1990. He then went onto Cerritos College and was soon drafted into the Los Angeles Dodgers Minor League. A few years later he became an ILWU Longshoreman. Richard was very passionate about baseball. He spent most of his time working on the waterfront, enjoying his free time on his boat and watching the Dodgers. May Richard rest in peace with his beloved father.
