He leaves behind a loving extended family and friends. He served in the Navy as a “Seebee” in World War II and retired as a LCDR. He retired from the LA County Sanitation Dept as a Civil Engineer designing water reclamation projects and sewer systems. In his own words, “I have
always burned my candles at both ends, but now I have run out of matches”.
