Raudel Huizar Cortes, ‘Randel’ 57 passed on November 27th 2025. He lived by the quote “One day at a time.” Randel was born on March 25th 1968 to Adelina and Ignacio Huizar and was the second youngest of a family of 13 children. He grew up in Wilmington, CA where everyday during his childhood and teen years was an adventure. He learned early on the value of a dollars and worked as a paperboy and that’s where it all started. Later in life he became a Longshoreman ‘ILWU’ local 13 member where he worked as a Crain operator. He loved this job dearly but was unfortunately forced to retire due to a terminal illness. He leaves behind a wife, two daughters, a son two grandchildren. Randel’s legacy of hard work, compassion, and love for his family will never be forgotten.
