Rallie Peter Rallis – January 7, 1935 – August 15, 2026
Rallie Peter Rallis, a lifelong Californian, devoted entrepreneur, and proud Naval officer, passed away on August 15, 2026, at the age of 91 in Seal Beach, California, due to complications from pneumonia. Born on January 7, 1935, in Los Angeles, Rallie grew up with a drive and determination that would define every chapter of his life. He earned his undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Southern California, followed by a Master's Degree in Business from the same institution. He went on to serve as a Naval officer, a period of service that left a lasting imprint on his character and deepened his commitment to those who served alongside him. Rallie built a successful career in manufacturing before channeling his entrepreneurial spirit into launching several businesses of his own. Among the ventures closest to his heart was a business dedicated to assisting veterans, a cause that reflected both his military background and his genuine concern for others. Forever the entrepreneur, Rallie remained active in business right up until his passing, never content to sit on the sidelines when there was work to be done. His presence in the Seal Beach community was felt in countless ways. As a member of Rotary and various local business groups, Rallie was always available to help other business owners achieve their dreams. He gave freely of his time, his experience, and his encouragement through active participation in trade organizations and community networks. If you asked Rallie about his hobbies, he would tell you with a smile that he really only had one: his love of working. For him, building something meaningful was never a burden. It was a joy. Rallie was a man of quiet faith, and his life reflected the Christian values of service, generosity, and steadfast dedication to others. Those who knew him will carry forward the example he set, not just as a businessman, but as a neighbor, a mentor, and a friend. Rallie is survived by Beverly, his loving wife of 47 years Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 12th, at 10 a.m. at the Historic Church, at Green Hills Memorial Park, 27501 Western Ave, Rancho Palos Verdes, CA, to be followed by a luncheon. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Rallie’s name to Folds of Honor, benefiting families with scholarships to the spouses and children of America’s fallen or disabled military service members and first responders. May his memory be eternal.
