It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Phyllis L. Reed on January 16, 2020, in Visalia, CA at the age of 77.
She will be lovingly remembered by her three sons, Frank, Michael, David, daughters-in-law, Julie and Daniela, her granddaughters Lauren, Allison, Clara, Dana, grandsons Austin and Matteo, brother Larry, sisters Laurie and Susan and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and dear friends.
Phyllis was born in Cleveland, OH on September 11, 1942 to Lawrence and Elisa (Lowe) Lengle. In 1965, she married Frank Reed Sr. of Philadelphia, PA. They lived in West Chester, PA until 1976 when they relocated with their three sons and called Rancho Palos Verdes, CA their new home. Once settled in, Phyllis restarted her real estate career and flourished over the next 30 years. Along the way she enjoyed family, her dogs, travel and adventure but most of all loved making new friends and caring for others. She touched many lives and her endless enthusiasm will continue to be an inspiration.
A funeral service is planned for 9am on Saturday, February 1st at Green Hills Memorial Chapel, 27501 S. Western Ave, Rancho Palos Verdes, CA followed by a Celebration of Life from 11am to 2pm at the Los Verdes Golf Club, 7000 W. Los Verdes Drive, Rancho Palos Verdes, CA.
We wish to thank everyone at Quail Park Memory Care in Visalia, CA and Kaweah Delta Hospice for their care and compassion over the last 5 years.
