In Loving Memory of Phyllis G. Feigum

Phyllis was the youngest of five children, a role that perfectly suited her free-spirited nature.

Phyllis G. Feigum, 79, of Highland, California, entered into the presence of our Lord on August 6, 2026, after a courageous second battle with cancer. She was a true warrior and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Phyllis was born in New Hampshire to Adrien and Irene Bisson. She was the youngest of five children, a role that perfectly suited her free-spirited nature. As a young woman, Phyllis broke barriers by securing a prestigious position at the telephone company-a role typically held by men at the time. It was here that her trademark Bisson strength and independent spirit first truly shone through.

She later married Richard Charest, and together they welcomed their two children, Michael and Jennifer. A few years later, the family made the move to California. After dedicating herself to raising Mike and Jennifer, Phyllis began a career with Waste Management, where she worked faithfully until her retirement after 19 years of service.

After her retirement, love found her again. She married Donald Feigum, happily welcoming his five children into her life. Over the years, this beautiful blended family grew to include many wonderful spouses, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Phyllis was incredibly proud of each and every one of these additional blessings.

Phyllis broke barriers by securing a prestigious position at the telephone company-a role typically held by men at the time.

Phyllis was a fiercely devoted wife, mother, Mémère, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend. She will be forever remembered for her unwavering strength, her infectious sense of humor, and her boundless love for her family and friends. She was truly a beautiful person inside and out.
