Peter P Mattingly

Peter Mattingly of San Pedro, California passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 16th, 2024.
Peter was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to the late Mary and Franklin Mattingly. He was preceded in death by his beloved siblings: James, Michael, John, and Marianne.
Peter had a distinguished former career in the U.S. Navy and Systems Programmer at the Port of Los Angeles, where his dedication and expertise earned the respect of colleagues and friends alike. A proud supporter of local businesses, he loved dining out, joining gatherings, and celebrating those close to him. In his free time, he enjoyed watching sports, especially cheering on the Green Bay Packers.
Peter will be deeply missed by his loved ones and the many lives he touched. He will be remembered as a loyal, thoughtful, and funny companion to those fortunate enough to know him. May his memory inspire kindness and connection in us all.

Services to honor Peter’s life will be held on Monday, December 16th, at 2:00 PM at Green Hills Chapel followed by a reception at Happy Diner #2.
