On Friday, August 14, 2020 Peter John Kontos loving husband and father of two sons passed away peacefully at home in Redondo Beach, California. He is survived by his wife, Joanne, sons Russell and Brandon Kontos, brother Emmanuel (Mary Lee) Kontos, brothers in law Glyn Kozai and Brian (Karrie Okamoto) Kozai, sister in law Mirna Aleman Kozai, uncles Toshiaki Kozai, Henry Kozai, aunts Nobu Bevins, Yoshiko Kitano, nephews Ronald Kozai and Michael (Rowena) Kozai, nieces Katherine Kontos and Edna Montanez, two grandsons and many other relatives.
A private memorial service was held on August 24, 2020 at Green Hills Memorial Park.
