Peggy Mitchell, the daughter of James and Lila Vanzant, passed away peacefully on November 1, 2012 at the age of 82. She was born on October 20, 1930 in Winchester, Tennessee and had been a long time resident of Carson, California. Peggy is survived by her loving sons, Frank Mitchell and Houston (Diana) Mitchell; granddaughters, Hannah Noelle Mitchell and Katielee Mitchell and sister, Yvonne Franklin.
