Paul Bartow, affectionately known as "Sparky" or "Skooby," was born on June 24, 1986, in Harbor City. He brought joy and laughter into the lives of everyone around him with his warm spirit and infectious humor. Paul cherished his time with loved ones, always eager to share a smile or a good laugh. His passions were as varied as his vibrant personality—he had a deep love for skateboarding, the beach, music, plants, and movies.
Paul's journey on this earth came to a close on July 17, 2025, in Long Beach, and though he is no longer with us, his memory will undoubtedly live on through the many lives he touched and the hearts he warmed.
He is survived by his devoted mother, Yolanda Bojorquez, who holds countless memories of her son, each painted with laughter and love. The profound impact Paul made on his family and friends is immeasurable, and they are heartbroken by his untimely passing, feeling the void left by his departure.
Paul's legacy also includes loved ones who preceded him in death: Alex G. Bojorquez, Julia Hurtado, Alex Bojorquez JR. Sandy Mendez, Eddie SR. and Alice Sanchez, and Linda Bartow. The bond shared with these individuals forms a part of the rich tapestry of his life's story, which he shared in different ways with each of them.
A memorial service to honor Paul will be held on August 13, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Green Hills Mortuary & Memorial Chapel, located at 27501 S Western Ave, Rancho Palos Verdes, CA. Following the service, friends and family are invited to gather for a graveside service at Green Hills Memorial Park beginning at 12:45 PM, where they will lay him to rest and celebrate the beautiful life he lived.
Paul's spirit will forever remain a source of inspiration, laughter, and love for all those who knew him. We take solace in the memories he created, the joy he spread, and the love that will continue to shine brightly in our hearts.
