Paul I. Akamine passed away on May 9, 2016 at the age of 90. He was born on November 6, 1925 in Kauai, Hawaii and was a longtime resident of Gardena, California. He is survived by his wife, Joan Akamine, daughter, Joy Akamine, and many nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at The Pavilion at Green Hills on Friday, June 3rd at 12 noon.
