Dr. Nourollah Malekzadeh was born in Amol, Iran, in 1921. Raised in Amol, he attended university in Geneva and received his doctorate in law from France. He married Fereshteh Neghabat in 1954. They have two sons, Alireza and Ahmadreza, three granddaughters, Parisa, Arianne, and Tatiana, and one great-granddaughter, Sienna.
An attorney for most of his life, he served as general counsel for the Iranian Interior Ministry, the president of the National United Municipalities, the National University of Iran, and numerous other public and private organizations. His reputation as a skilled lawyer led to his election for several terms to the board of directors of the Iranian Bar Association.
He spent his time in retirement playing tennis and gardening in Hermosa Beach, California.
His family and friends will miss his joy for life, sense of humor, and humility.
