Mittie Jane Goza

Mittie Jane Goza, the daughter of Elly and Bessie York passed away on September 12, 2015 at the age of 87. She was born on August 18, 1928 in Fornery, Texas and was a longtime resident of Torrance, California. She was married to J.B. Goza for 60 years, who preceeded her in death in 2007. "Gigi", as she was known to her family, was a devout member of Rolling Hills Covenant Church, and she enjoyed playing golf, gardening, singing, dancing , cooking, and especially spending time with her grandkids. She is survived by her children, Barry (Doris) Goza, David (Jean) Goza, Tina (Michael) Lo Piccolo, Cheryl Goza, Michael (Missy) Goza, 14 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Visitation will be held 3pm-8pm at Green Hills Mortuary on Wednesday, September 16th and a funeral service will be held 1pm Thursday, September 17th at Green Hills Memorial Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations to The Alzheimer's Association would be appreciated.
