Miles Usui

Miles Akira Usui, 72 of Jeffersonville, IN passed away on Saturday February 24, 2018. Born on June 24, 1945 in Chicago, IL to Paul Tatsuo Usui and Mary Hattori Usui, Miles graduated from Narbonne High School and San Diego State University. He was a Navy veteran of the Vietnam War, a retired Elementary Special Education Teacher for the Los Angeles Unified School District and a member of the Sunnyside Assembly of God Church in Jeffersonville. Preceded in death by his parents and his sister Joyce Teruko Matsuura, he is survived by his brothers, Wayne Usui (Dawn) of Charlestown, IN and Mark Usui (Vivien) of Rollings Hills Estates. Miles’ nieces and nephews, Jill Fellows (Scott), Anne Davidson (Rex), Lynn Mendez (Oscar), Jeffrey Usui, Ryan Usui, Brent Usui
and Matthew Usui also survive him. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 8, 2018, 11:30am at Green Hills Memorial Chapel.
