On March 21, 2026, five days before her 87th birthday, Mildred Kayoko Suzuki (Ono) passed away peacefully, surrounded by immediate family. She is predeceased by her husband, Warren M. Suzuki. She is survived by her son, Trent (Cammie) Suzuki; daughter, Jill (Randy) Kumagawa; and grandchildren Jarod and Lahni Suzuki, Cody and Brad Beyster, and Emma Kumagawa.

Besides being known as Mom and Grandma, she loved being Mrs. Suzuki, the proud, beloved educator. She commanded her classroom with quiet authority, highlighted each student’s strengths, and left a lasting impression on all.

In lieu of flowers or koden, the family requests that donations be made in memory of Mildred K. Suzuki to The Parkinson Research Foundation.
