In Loving Memory of Milan Bacoka

Milan Bacoka, a beloved father and grandfather, passed away peacefully on January 15, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family. He was 88 years old.
Milan was born on September 20, 1937, in Kukljica, Croatia, to his parents, Ante and Krstina Bacoka. From his early years, he carried with him strong values of family, resilience, and dedication that guided him throughout his life.
Milan was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Bernardica (Maria) Bacoka, with whom he shared a deep and enduring bond. He is survived by his loving family; partner Vesna, his son Anthony and wife Tracy; his son Milan Jr. and girlfriend Melly; and his granddaughter Blaire and husband Joseph.
A devoted father and grandfather, Milan was a steady presence and a source of wisdom, kindness, and unconditional love. Family was always at the heart of his life, and his legacy lives on through the generations he helped shape. Those who knew him will remember his gentle spirit, quiet strength, and the care he showed so freely to others.
**Services**
Visitation will be held on Friday January 30, 2026, from 4:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in the Chapel at Green Hills.
The funeral service will take place on Saturday January 31, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. at Mary Star of the Sea Church, after which Milan will be laid to rest at Green Hills.
Following the services, the family invites all who knew and loved Milan to join them in celebrating his life at the Dalmatian American Hall.
In lieu of flowers the family would like to request that any donations be made to the Dalmatian-American Club scholarship fund in his name.
Milan will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
