Milagros Malan Angeles Quitangon

Milagros Malan Angeles Quitangon, lovingly known as Mila, was born on October 21, 1930, and passed away peacefully on September 7, 2026, at the age of 95.

She was the beloved wife of Engr. Teodoro A. Quitangon (deceased) and a devoted mother whose love, strength, and dedication touched the lives of her family and all who knew her.

Mila is survived by her six children:

• Cynthia Q. Villanueva, married to Joseph L. Villanueva
• Lilibeth Q. Atienza, married to Gerardo Atienza, with daughter Shantell
• Lee A. Quitangon
• Gemma Q. Frialde, married to Richard Frialde, with sons Joshua, married to Xenia, Brian, Francis, and Ralph
• Grace Q. Cipra, married to Dave Cipra, with daughters Ashley and Sophia
• Teodoro “Ted” A. Quitangon, Jr., married to Brenda de Guzman with daughters Dominique “Nikki”, married to Karlo Bobiles, with daughter Mia, and Camille, and son John Michael

Mila endured one of the deepest sorrows a mother could face when she lost her beloved son, Guilberto, in a tragic car accident, together with her husband, Teodoro. The loss remained a profound sorrow in her heart throughout her life. Yet, through that unimaginable grief, Mila found the strength to carry on and continue caring for and loving her family. Her resilience became a testament to the remarkable strength of her character.

Mila dedicated much of her life to serving others. She was a public-school teacher and later worked as an Auditing Aide with the Commission on Audit (COA) in the Philippines.

In every position she held, Mila gave her very best. She approached her work with dedication, commitment, integrity, and a pursuit of excellence. She took great pride in doing things well and in serving others with sincerity and responsibility.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Mila will be remembered most for the love she gave to her family. She was a source of strength, wisdom, and inspiration to her children, grandchildren, and all those fortunate enough to know her.

She taught her family, not only through her words but through the example of her own life: to persevere through hardship, to remain dedicated to one's responsibilities, to care deeply for others, and to always give one's best.

Her legacy lives on through her children, grandchildren, and future generations, and through the values she instilled in them. The love she shared, the sacrifices she made, and the lives she touched will remain a lasting part of her family's story.

Though she is no longer with us, her memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved her. Her life was a gift to her family, and her love will continue to live on through them.
