"Mel" is survived by his loving family including his wife: Jennifer, his son: Seth; mother: Maria (Serge) Pilapil, grandmother: Elena Pilapil; uncle: Joshua Pilapil; nephews: Adam and Luke Pilapil. His in-laws: Gloria and Eddie Olano, along with his brother in law: Harley Olano also survive him.
