San Pedro resident Mary Ann Rollins passed away Saturday, February 11, 2017, at the age of 88. Mary Ann taught Kindergarten for 35 years at Broad Avenue Elementary School in Wilmington, and a short time at Catskill Avenue Elementary School in Carson, California. She spent her retirement years traveling, reading and enjoying time with her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, James B. Rollins. Together they raised four children by whom they are survived, along with their respective spouses; Jim and Gwyn of Cypress, Dean and Natalie of Costa Mesa, Tom and Sandra of Orange, and Lori and Michael St John of Long Beach. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Memorial service will be held at 11:30 am on Friday, February 17, 2017, at Green Hills Memorial Chapel, Rancho Palos Verdes.
