Marvalyn "Pete" Jean Brooks, the daughter of Levi and Ella Hershiser, passed away on November 26, 2014 at the age of 90. She was born on October 7, 1924 in Waterloo, Iowa and was a longtime resident of San Pedro, California. She is survived by her children, Sandra "Sandy" K. Whalen, Randy Lee Brooks, and Pamela Heffner. Visitation will be held Friday, December 5th 9 am - 1 pm at Green Hills Mortuary, followed by a graveside service at 2 pm at Green Hills Memorial Park.
