Marlene Bero Guion, a deeply caring and compassionate woman known for her generosity, kindness, and unwavering dedication to family, passed away on May 20, 2026, in Torrance. Born on August 19, 1935, Marlene's life was marked by a profound love for her family and a rich tapestry of interests that brought joy to those around her.

Marlene was a devoted mother who took great pride in raising her four daughters, Elizabeth Nanette Dalo, Theresa Rojes, Margaret Carvalho, and Denise Guion. Her legacy extended beyond her immediate family to include cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren, whom she loved dearly. She was also preceded in death by her spouse, Giovanni S Guion, who passed away in March 2024.

Throughout her life, Marlene found happiness in simple yet meaningful pursuits. She had a passion for playing the piano every Sunday morning before attending church, filling her home with music and warmth. A tennis enthusiast, she enjoyed the sport wholeheartedly and was an avid listener of oldies music, often reminiscing while watching classic movies. When quiet moments were called for, she could be found reading newspapers and solving crossword puzzles, exercises that reflected her sharp mind and love for thoughtful engagement.

Marlene's final days were spent surrounded by family after being admitted to the hospital in Torrance when she was feeling unwell. She passed peacefully, embraced by the love of those who cherished her.
