Mark Anthony Henry was born on December 4, 1971, in Los Angeles, California to Katherine and William (Bill) Henry. He transitioned into Heaven on November 16, 2025. He was 53 years old. His wife of over 20 years was Lua Faaliliu, and stepfather to Donnelle Iosua, Demitri Iosua, and Duke Iosua. He was the youngest sibling to William (Bill) Henry Jr, Steven Katz, Chris Katz, Richard Henry, Tracey Conley, and Edward Henry. He was baptized at St. Bernadette Catholic Church and confirmed at Transfiguration Catholic Church. He attended Tom Bradley Elementary School (formerly Dublin Avenue Elementary School), Orville Wright Middle School, and graduated from Westchester High School.
For more than twenty beautiful years, Mark and Lua shared a love that was truly special—two soulmates who always felt at home with one another. Together, with Donnelle, Duke and Demitri, they built dreams, created a life filled with joy, and formed a bond that strengthened them through every season. Mark was their rock and protector. He was the best husband and stepfather—always supportive, loving unconditionally, and giving his whole heart to his family. He worked tirelessly for them and loved deeply, without hesitation. Affectionate and devoted, he expressed his love every single day.
Mark was a very humble person. He was selfless, always putting other’s needs before his own. He had a warm sense about himself, always welcoming and friendly to those he came in touch with. He had a tremendous work ethic. He ascended into management positions at his places of employment. One of his proudest moments was Lua and his purchase of their first home in Fontana, California. Mark was living the American Dream.
Mark enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He was especially close with his childhood and best friend, Eric Mays. Eric and Mark were just alike, hardworking family men with warm personalities. He was Godfather to his niece, Brandi Katz. His nieces and nephews adored him. He loved his parents with all his heart and soul. He was especially close to his brothers, Steven and Chris Katz. He was also very close to his nieces and nephews, especially his nephew Aaron Katz.
It was no secret that Mark’s favorite team was the Dallas Cowboys. Mark was all about “Them Boys!” He would proudly proclaim his coined phase, “COWBOYS4LIFE!” to anyone, any day, and any time. His Cowboy fandom was legendary. All you had to do was look at his wardrobe and you would know it was all about the Dallas Cowboys.
