Marie Edith Carlisi was born in 1928 in Brooklyn, New York, and lived a life distinguished by independence, integrity, and genuine warmth. She later made her home in California, where she embraced its spirit of opportunity and built a life marked by purpose, meaningful work, and enduring friendships.
Marie possessed a natural gift for working with people, grounded in honesty and sincerity. These qualities defined her professional life and contributed to a long and successful career in management within the fitness industry, where she was respected for her dedication, strong work ethic, and leadership. Her contributions were formally recognized during her career, a reflection of the high regard in which she was held.
Beyond her professional life, Marie was deeply engaged in her community and valued personal connection above all else. Marie was preceded in death by her parents Joseph Carlisi and Jeanette (née Grici) and sister Sylvia Bungaro.
Her life was one of substance and dignity, and she leaves behind a legacy of loyalty, kindness, and strength. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
