Maria A. Hernandez passed away on June 27, 2015 at the age of 88. She was born on November 11, 1926 and was a lifelong resident of Carson, California. She is survived by her husband, Manuel Hernandez, daughters, Marigold Ortega, Patricia Bernal, grandchildren, Rachel Grove, Gilbert Ortega, Lillian Valdez, Richard Pacheco, six great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren, brothers, David and Ruben Aguirre. Visitation will be held 3pm – 8pm at Green Hills Mortuary on Thursday, July 9, 2015, and the funeral service will be held at 11am at Green Hills Memorial Chapel on Friday, July 10, 2015
