Margaret Lou La Donna Canaday

Margaret Lou LaDonna Canaday, 89, of San Pedro, California, passed away on April 25, 2025.

Margaret was born on February 11, 1936, to John and Giselda Canaday. After she graduated from San Pedro High School, she went on to get her degree in nursing and a certificate in x-ray technology.

Margaret married Dominick F. Lozica on February 11, 1956, and had three children, Michele Helen, Nicholas John, and Michael Dominick Lozica.

Margaret returned to nursing for Dr. Stanley Stock of San Pedro, working for over 30 years in her career.

Margaret was predeceased by parents John and Giselda Canaday and brother John Canaday. She is survived by son Nicholas J. Lozica, son Michael D. Lozica, daughter-in-law Deirdre Lozica, and their children, Nicholas R. Lozica and Alexandra M. Lozica, and daughter Michele H. Wield, son-in-law Paul J. Wield and their children, Analiese X. Wield and Juliet L. Wield.

Her burial will be held at Green Hills Memorial Park on July 11, 2025. The family requests that no donations be made nor flowers be sent.
