Linda Herrera

Linda Herrera joined her Husband, Fidel on January 6, 2017, passing away in her home of 55-years. Linda was born on March 9, 1939, and resided in Torrance most of her life. Linda was a wonderful Mother, Grandmother, Sister and friend. She lived an energetic life dedicated to family and friends and had a particular fondness for her grandchildren. She loved to line-dance and socialize. She is preceded in death by her first love, Fidel. Linda is survived by her sons Frank (Laurie) and David and her caring daughter Jackie (Mario); grandchildren Jason (Lisa), Amanda, Melissa, Justin (Sarah), Joshua; great-grandchildren Julia and Nathan along with her sister Chris (Cecil) Dodd. Our family loved our mother/grandmother and owe her a great deal of gratitude for shaping our lives. We believe that we were blessed while being in her presence and her spirit lives on with her family and friends.

A viewing is scheduled on Monday, January 16, at Green Hills Mortuary in the Cove Suite from 3:00pm until 8:00pm. A burial service is scheduled on Tuesday, January 17 at 11:30am in the Green Hills Chapel with burial to follow.
