Lester Lowery, a resident of Lomita, was born in Wewoka, Oklahoma on August 30, 1924 and departed on May 25, 2012. He was a decorated WWII Coast Guard veteran, loving husband and family man. He is survived by his wife, Patricia Lowery; son, Gary Lowery; 9 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchildren. Services are Friday, June 1, 2012 at 9:00 am at Green Hills Memorial Park.
