Leslie Lou Irvine 65, of Los Angeles unexpectedly passed away in his home on June 24, 2026. Leslie Lou Irvine was born in Croix Chapeau, France on May 21, 1961, to his parents John L. Irvine and Hisako Nancy Irvine. In his early years Les lived in Okinawa, Japan where his father was serving in the military.
After his father’s passing in Okinawa, the family relocated to Lomita, California. Leslie graduated from Nathaniel Narbonne High School, Harbor City, June 1979. He joined the army right out of high school. He attended Fort Benning, Georgia for basic training. Les then attended Airborne school becoming a paratrooper in the 102 Airborne. He enjoyed being in the service, his proudest moments of time.
Les lived most of his life in the South Bay and Los Angeles area. His memory will live on in the hearts of all those who loved him.
Leslie was preceded in death by his father John L. Irvine. He is survived by his mother Hisako Nancy Irvine, his brother Ira Irvine, nephews Jared Irvine, Paul Irvine, niece Jenna (Kenneth) Hamilton, sister Iris (Jerry) Ebersole, nephews Ryan Ebersole, Jesse Ebersole, and Jonathan (Sarah) Ebersole. A private service was held on July 23, 2026, at Green Hills Memorial Park.
