Lawanda N. Westerberg, the daughter of Christian and Laura Nielsen, passed away on December 28th 2014 at the age of 87. She was born in Oklahoma on November 11, 1927, and was a longtime resident of Carson, California. She is survived by her husband, Glenn Westerberg, children, Marsha (Richard) Goetjen, David (Kim) Westerberg, Janet (Michael) Hall, 8 grandchildren (Neil, Josef, Mark, Christie, Jacob, Miranda, Blake, and Justin) as well as 2 great grandchildren, Ashley and Ka'ena. Funeral service will be held 1 pm Saturday, January 3rd 2015 at Green Hills Memorial Chapel.
