In loving memory of Lance L. Mullin,

Lance, a man of deep family devotion, a strong love for God, and a heart for service, graduated to heaven on 1/31/25. Born in Torrance, a graduate of Narbonne High School, Lance spent his life repairing and building things – both professionally and in the many lives he touched. After spending 62 years in the Torrance area, Lance and his wife moved to Oak Hills, California, to enjoy his retirement in his dream home with his dream workshop. After his move to the high desert, he became a member of Hesperia Christian Church and began to play on the worship team, which he loved very much.

A lifelong learner and worker, Lance studied Business and Finance at Los Angeles Harbor College. He was a man that loved to work with his hands and teach, making his business of 24 years truly successful. Throughout his professional life, He was a glazier, business owner holding a C17 Contractors License, Property Investor, Real Estate Appraiser and a Thermographer.

In his well-deserved retirement, Lance found joy in a wide variety of passions. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved boating, waterskiing, camping, and fishing. Whether he was motor cycle riding, bowling, playing music, traveling the world, he was always in his element. He had a particular love for classic cars, especially his 1965 and 1966 mustangs. His newest love was his recently purchased 1940 Woody Wagon.

Lance lived by the philosophy that “Love is useless until you give it away to others”. While residing in Torrance, and attending Torrance First Baptist Church for 35 years, he was a pillar of strength and affection. He served as a deacon for over 8 years as the chairman of the Administration Operations Committee. He was the beloved husband to Terri for 49 years, and a devoted father to Kelli (Liza), Jamie and Adam. As a proud grandfather, known affectionately as “Papa”, he leaves behind a legacy of love in his grandchildren: Merek, Lily, Tanner, Sage, and Beckham.
