Joseph Benjamin Marshall, age twenty-eight, of Redondo Beach, passed away October eighth, twenty twenty-six. He was a man of God with a deep love of his Christian faith, and he loved his family and spending time with the people closest to him. Joe had a heart of gold. He truly cared about people and loved deep, meaningful conversations. He was a kind and generous man.
Joe served as a specialist in the U.S. Army in the motor pool, including a tour in South Korea, and planned to take over his father’s concrete company. He enjoyed dirt biking in the desert, the river, the beach, skateboarding, jiu-jitsu, wrestling, football, fitness, working out, and fishing.
He was a graduate of Saint Lawrence Martyr School and Bishop Montgomery High School. He was preceded in death by his mother, Kathy, in two thousand nine. He is survived by his Father Chris, Sister Valerie, Sister Christine, Step mom Lisa, Step brothers, Matthew Brennan, Jeffrey, Mitchell, and step sister Meghan, Grandma Cheryl
Services will be held November sixth at two in the afternoon at Green Hills Mortuary and Funeral Home in Rancho Palos Verdes, followed by burial alongside his mother and a reception at the Marshall home.
