Josefa Martinez

Josefa ( a.k.a. Josefina ) Martinez went to be with the Lord on Dec 5th 2024 at the age of 82. Born in Nochixtlan Oaxaca Mexico, Josefa excelled academically & was sponsored at age 8, relocating to Mexico City before coming to America in the 1960s. Josefa is survived by brothers Gustavo & Miguel Santiago, her three children Monica( Matthew ) Alexander( Katie ) Nicole( Charlie ) & her eight grandchildren Justine, Vincent, Benjamin, Aaron, Shane, Francesca, Troy & Anjalysa Martinez.

Josefa loved having her children & grandchildren around often for gatherings, special occasions & holidays. Josefa was a lifelong devoted caregiver bonded by love to families she cared for & often recalled enjoyed watching them grow. Family, education, hard work & love for gardening were everything to Josefa. With a natural green thumb Josefa took pride in her red roses & vibrant orchids.

Services for Josefa will be held at the Mortuary at Green Hills in Rancho Palos Verdes
