As a proud Filipino Scout, Jose bravely served alongside American allies in World War II, later receiving the Congressional Gold Medal for his service.

He will be remembered for his generosity, kindness, and unwavering devotion to family. His legacy of courage and love will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
